Join us this summer as we Read to Grow our urban canopy! Our theme this year is Read, Renew, Repeat and we're encouraging people from all walks of life to take advantage of our incredible collection to grow your mind, renew your spirit, and connect with new people and ideas. This year our summer program is open to people of all ages, and includes an exciting new element - Read to Grow! By registering above, or in person, and checking in weekly to confirm your readidng, participants will be able to exchange their reading credit towards unlocking a new tree to plant in our community. 

 

In partnership with the City's forestry department, we have a lofty goal of reading to 'unlock' and plant 50 new trees this summer! As a Tree City USA and a newly minted Tree City World, this initiative turns everyone into a philanthropist and allows us all the opportunity to give back to our community now, and years down the road when folks sit under the shade of trees that we plant this summer.
