Burlington's city council is made up of a 5-member collective including a Mayor & Mayor Pro-Tem. The council is the legislative body elected by the citizens of Burlington to make laws and policies for the community. Council meets every 1st and 3rd Monday of the month at 5:30 pm in the Thomas J. Smith Council Chambers at City Hall, in addition to meeting every 2nd and last Monday of the month for work sessions at 4:30 pm. Click on a link below to learn more:
