Groundbreaking Event

On Wednesday, October 6 at the Main and Court Streets over 200 people witnessed history in the making at the groundbreaking for the new Burlington Public Library building.

Choosing a Contractor

The board held a public bid opening on Thursday, September 23 at 4:30 pm in the Grimes-Salter Room. Three bids were received. The low bid is from S.G. Construction at $8.09 million. At a special board meeting on Wednesday, September 29 at 4:30 pm in the Grimes-Salter Room, the board awarded the contract to S.G. Construction.
