Monday-Thursday 10 a.m. – 7 pm.
Friday & Saturday 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

“Gently used” books, C.D.s, Videos and magazines are available for sale.

New gift merchandise with a reading theme such as mugs, bookmarks, journals, pens and note cubes are also offered.

Come early, come late,
come often to Footnotes where you'll get the best deals in town.

Volunteer Opportunities

FOOTNOTES is staffed by Friends member volunteers who open the shop to customers more than 200 hours each month. New volunteers are always welcome, just mark your Friends membership application or leave a note in the journal at the FOOTNOTES desk.

Donations

The “Big Box” in front of the shop is always out for receiving donations. Friends volunteers will also provide pick up service for larger numbers of donated books.

All funds raised by Friends through the FOOTNOTES Shop and three big book sales each year (March, June, October) are utilized for special Burlington Public Library projects, such as special children’s department programs, performances, equipment, scholarships and more.
