    This year's genealogy workshop will feature guest speaker Deborah Abbott on Friday, March 31st and Saturday, April 1st. She will be speaking on African American research, researching female ancestors, vital records, what to do when you only have a death announcement, and cluster researching. We will also have free presentations during the day on Friday.   1. Stuffed Animal Sleepover

    March 24, 2017, 3:00 PM - March 25, 2017, 10:00 AM

    It's a sleepover for special stuffed animal buddies at the library! Drop off your child's stuffed animal between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM Friday, March 24, or come for a short animal storytime with Miss Allison at 4:15 PM and drop off your friend afterward. Each animal will be given a name tag. After the library closes, your animal friends will have adventures around the library (photographic evidence will be provided!). Pick up your friends the following morning (March 25) during our Reading Buddies event between 10:00 and 11:00 AM.

    TICOS stands for Teens Inspiring Change, Optimism & Service. We are a little like student council for the library and also a Junior Optimist Club as well. We do projects and fund raisers for the library and help with community events. Anyone 6th grade through high school is welcome to come. We would love to have you join us!
