Family Night Unplugged: We're All Scientists!

Sing-a-long to fall songs at a Pumpkinpalooza Storytime, make and munch on a creepy, holiday treat, and decorate your very own Jack O'Lantern canvas tote! Use your tote to check out 10 books to be entered into a Halloween Grand Prize Drawing then recycle the tote for future library visits and for trick-or-treating! Space is limited and registration is required for a tote. A special thanks to the Friends of the Burlington Public Library for making this event possible.

Bring your favorite pumpkin flavored treat to swap with other baking enthusiasts. We'll provide recipe cards and coffee if you bring your pumpkin bars, pumpkin spice cookie cups, pumpkin fudge, and pumpkin pies to share. trade techniques and share Your stories about baking during the harvest.

Create Club (Register here!)
Find us in the former Coffee Shop off the library lobby on Mondays at 11 a.m. for some spooktacular STEM programs. Engineer a "bone bridge" with Q-Tips, construct your very own candy pumpkin catapults, conduct some simple chemistry with candy corn, and design LEGO monsters to horrify and delight! This event is open to anyone who would like to learn basic STEM concepts through fun, engaging activities. Kiddos aged 12 and under should bring their adult with them. Registration is not required but is highly encouraged.
