What if the item I want is not on the shelf?

You may place a request for materials to be held for you. You can do this at the service desks, by phone, or online. When the item is checked in, we will notify you by phone or by email. Hold items are shelved near the Customer Service Desk and filed under the first two letters of your last name. Items are held for 5 days. Express items can not have holds.
